A short movie by friends and members of the Citizen L project (coming to the screen in the spring of 2012)
SYNOPSIS / PRODUCTION LOG-LINE
Alex Stinson, a part-time Seattle carpenter struggling to finish college at the behest of his recently deceased father, appears to catch a break when his film class is overrun by the History 2.0 Show--a sketchy, web-based reality series in which students compete against each other for tuition money by concocting unorthodox documentaries on historical topics. Alex's History 2.0 team proposes an innovative video on the civil rights movement; but when the concept flounders, a desperate Alex discovers a way to profit from his team's demise--an outcome he seeks to ensure by re-casting his team's project as a defamation of MLK. However when Alex is publicly called out on his scheme, he ends up honoring not only his father but the King legacy as well--each in a manner that would not previously have been thinkable.
